Did You Notice the Store?
Yes, the store looks different. Thanks to one persistent shopper, I found out that my store has not been working. And who knows for how long? I was still getting orders from “regulars” who called or contacted me through the website contact form or mailed a request with a check. But it has been months since an order came through the online store on the website. Since I don’t really advertise, I thought that people who knew of me had finally started making their own tinctures. And that was fine, since that is exactly what my store and my book is all about. Showing you the results if you followed the exact process outlined in my book Making Tinctures: Beyond the Folk Method.
But once I found out that my store was not working (Thanks, Pam!), I removed the software for that store and replaced it with another. That meant setting it up so that it would work with PayPal, entering all the products and their descriptions, establishing the inventory, etc. Took a lot of relearning and figuring…. I will be adding more products over time, but hopefully I got the major ones people want. If there is one you want that is not on my “virtual shelf” in the store, there is a comment form on every page in the store. Just let me know what you want and how many and I will let you know if and when I can meet your request.
If you are reading this and was one of the people who tried to order from my store, please forgive me for all the inconvenience and frustration you went through. I have made sure that this store has a contact form for each product so that you can comment or ask questions. If you EVER have a problem with ANYTHING on my website, including Thyme’s Tinctures Store, you can use any of these forms or go to Contact Thyme in the About Thyme menu under the header or in the footer at the bottom of the page.
One big difference with this new store is the ability to give and read reviews on each product. I would love for you to let me and others know why you bought it and how it worked (or not) for you. I am gradually posting articles in my blog about the different tinctures, but I have a long way to go. Reviews may help others, especially if there is not more information on my website. Reviews may also prompt me to which tinctures to write about next.

I’ve had such relief of especially persistent Spring allergy symptoms with your Elderflower tincture and the Astragalus and Barberry made me feel much more prepared during an otherwise very grim month. March (2020). Also very glad to have made a new herbal friend, a bright spot in this worrisome pandemic time. I’ve just used your new store with PayPal and it all works beautifully.
